Gary Richey graduated REL in 1973. He was a member of the REL Cannon Crew. Gary owned his own tree trimming business. He was a Fireman with the Tyler Fire Department for 13+ years and was later employed by the Stuttgart, Arkansas Fire Department for 7+ years. He worked in the late 1970's and Early 1980's with Young Life Ministries as a Volunteer. Gary retired from fire fighting in the late 2000's and returned to Tyler where he helped care for his parents and in particular his mother. He worked for the Brinks Armored Car Company and as a Security Guard at the Villages on Lake Palestine and for other security companies. He never married or had children. His memorial service will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, 12/17/2024 at the TASCA Activity Center 10495 County Road 2167, Whitehouse, TX 75791
